Once Helios has been deployed, it will immediately begin the process to stop the following security issues.

Cameras Offline?

With a built in active monitoring system, Helios will provide real time alerts via Email/SMS that a camera or branch is offline. For sites with regular dropouts you can refer to the Helios Portal which will show log reports/alerts that will help pinpoint dropouts throughout the day.

Are your Cameras recording successfully?

Helios will not let this go unnoticed. With on demand and scheduled reporting available, Helios will keep you informed on the site recording success rate and will even highlight potential problems such as Low Disk Space regardles of the recording solution (NAS, QNAP, File Server etc.)

Warranty Replacement

Camera Failure? Helios will regularly accesses reports from the cameras which are stored in the cloud. These can be sent to the supplier or manufacturer therefore, increasing the turnaround speed. Or better yet, correcting the issue on site.

Hacking!

Whilst we hope all cameras in the field have a strong combination of a username and a complex password, we know this is not always the case. To help bolster the security of the network, Helios will alert you of potential hacking. This is used to help prevent “Brute Force” style attacks.

Lost Camera settings?

Helios stores and backs up this information. If necessary, simply deploy or redeploy a camera and upload the already saved configuration. It’s a simple feature but this is all done as soon as Helios is deployed, no more commission time for every camera. No more wandering around confirming that “camera 14 is the warehouse fire exit camera” as the cameras last screenshot is also in the AutoSaved reports.

Needing that competitive edge to win clients over to a maintenance agreement?

Helios can provide a full report of the site which can be sent to the client on a routine basis. Using the extensive reporting feature, we can access all of the information available and auto-generate a report to the integrator (or it can be automated direct to the end user). This can give the end user a simple and readable breakdown of their system.

Is the image quality correct 24 hours a day?

Helios can provide these images via its reports. Depending on the request times, Helios will provide day and night screenshots and compile them into the reports. This allows the integrator to make necessary camera setting changes by relocating the device. For example, if someone has shifted the housing or lens creating a blind-spot, you can compare the previous reports and rectified error early.
